Many counties keep public records on file, and even scan them to allow internet access to them. Your divorce decree, unless sealed, would be there if your county supports this. I did get a very official looking divorce decree in my mail from one "Asdfjk Adsklfj". It's clearly a scan from original documents, and not digitally altered as far as I can tell. The name on the documents matches the email address that he used to register to the board over a year ago, before any of this.

Well I tell you what Naner go and ask Gandaar about him wanting to split up the guild into different houses labling each with entirly new guild tag. Or better yet go ask Gandaar about the countless nights that he sat in HOH w/ ppl asking to come and join him and he just saying "I'm not going to be on long" but yet still remaining a few hrs. Hey here's a better one...ask him about how many secret toons he has and how he uses them to "play without being known" when really all he does with them is cause drama and spy on people and their coversations about him and his guild. The list goes on and on. Ask him to give you access to that hidden admin form where all of this is kept at. As him to tell you the truth about all the guild matters and how he teases people with thought of being promoted and given things just to get them to do what he wants. Its funny how a man so proud of his accomplishments hasn't really accomplished anything other than learning how to lead his guild by the nose.

It's clear. Shemp has Wannabe Syndrome. Shemp didn't get an invitation to the inner circle, and jumped to a lot of conclusions about why. He feels he's officer material, discussed the possibility with Gandaar, and Gandaar was stuck being polite. I've been a guildleader in one game or another since the release week of EQ1 (longer if you wanna go back to UO or any of a series of popular games), and Shemp was the classic problem for a guildleader. Again, he's a Wannabe.

Plays fanatically, feels his contributions to the guild warrant some special treatment, and then starts to pester the GL for more. He questions the other officers, lets them know he's thinking about hitting the GL up for Officership, and tries to gather up supporters. GL, seeing that while he DOES play rabidly, he's basically a clueless tool. GL doesn't want to lose the body for a raid, so he strings the moron along as long as he can until eventually, he has to just say..

"Look Shemp, you're just not good enough to be more than a nameless tool in the crowd. You will not ever be an officer"

That's when the rabid moron goes berserk in guild or something equally retarded and you have to boot him or her from the guild. They of course are just as rabid in hating you as they are in playing the GAME (they never quite understand that the game is not reality), and go about trashing you and everyone who is an officer in the guild, because they WERE better than they were and good enough to rise above being a member.

Yeah, lots of the folks you make officers are likely to have won the popularity contest. That's of course because they're either RL friends or have proven themselves to be competent AND driven. The GL is really just the "Owner of the Club". Most people in guilds do NOT want to lead. They want to be lead.. they want to have a plan, and have something to do when they log on, and don't want to be bothered with "what are we going to do tonight?" That's not easy, and a GL needs people they can trust to split up the tasks of making things work. Why the FUCK would you put an incompetent boob in charge of anything?

The Wannabe will hear this, realize the truth of it, and it will piss off the Wannabe more than anything else, because he or she KNOWS that you feel they're incompetent, and it makes them crazy because they feel they've mastered the GAME and your judgement of their worthiness gets to them. After all, they play ALL the time, and are the Best [insert class here] that the guild has to offer.. why SHOULDN'T they get to do "officer stuff" in secret forums?

When you lead a large guild, you NEED to have Anon toons just so you can find a little fucking FUN in the game. Log on as GL in a guild of more than 30 people, and your screen will almost assuredly light up with tells from a variety of people for a ton of different reasons, most of them REALLY petty. It usually leads to losing a lot of play time to dealing with these things. Being a GL is basically a goddamned job, in a place where you want to PLAY. If they need or want some time alone, fuck you for even questioning it. Also, having strong officers is a godsend, and you need a private forum just to discuss all the bullshit that typically happens with the primadonnas in a guild.

Soandso the Enchanter is threatening to leave the guild if Shem doesn't stop breaking Mez.

Dumbass the rogue was leading a raid and just decided to take an epic piece instead of letting the other 3 rouges there roll too..

Big guilds get big babies, and as GL, you get to take in every whiny moment from every pissant there is. Primadonnas are likely to be rampant, especially in the key classes, and you'll have your hands full just trying to keep them happy. I applaud anyone who does the job, and anyone who had to deal with the likes of Shemp in ANY setting is probably a saint. I can't imagine how creeped out Gandaar must have been when Shemp dropped in for a visit. No doubt Shempy was coming to further cement his place in the "Inner Circle", and I also don't doubt that's right about the time that Gandaar said.. "whoa.. enough is enough".

The people i respect on this board are the ones that have posted things that made me think. Just to list one name Fandros often posts things in the RL section that makes me think, i respect him.
