voyage should follow it pretty shortly there after right? I loved this series so much as a child and still reread all but the last book every few years.

in a side note ever read the last book? what the fuck was that about? it all made sense until that one.

I hope Adamson's direction is sharper than in the first movie -- special effects and nostalgia can only carry a flick so far. It does look good, on first blush; I got chills. Anna Popplewell is, erm, aging nicely.

2010 and Voyage of the Dawn Treader is really what I'm waiting for. Reread that story many times, probably more than any book but Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The Last Battle is the Book of Revelations, Narnia style, with the end of the world, damnation of a sort for the wicked, and entry into Aslan's country (Heaven) for those who retained faith in him. Darker and more theologically complex than its predecessors, it's been low on the reread list since I first finished it.

Man 2010. Thats so far off. They'll have to shoot A Horse And His Boy before The Silver Chair or these kids are gonna be waaaay too old.

Nah, the kids are adults in "a horse and his boy" so it should work just fine. When they find the old wardrobe is when they turned back into kids again.

oh yeah! I forgot about that. So they are only kids in the return to Narnia post accident in the Last Battle. And even knowing that it was the story of Revelations it was pretty conplex and not nearly as good as the others.
