WOW.... Where'd they get those friggin refs!!! I hope that conference never, and I mean NEVER, gets to ref a bowl game or any other game for that matter. My grandmother could have ref'd that better. She doesn't watch football, and has glasses the thickness of pop bottle bottoms. There is more glass in those goggles than a 10 x 15 picture window.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there is a play still going wouldn't it be a penalty if the WHOLE team ran out on the field?? DAMN. The way I see it Michigan still had a play left from the 7 1/2 yard line, after the walk off for having too many players on the field. Game can't end on a defensive penalty. The probably should have gotten another one for excessive celebration. Or better yet the refs could have screwed up (again) and moved the endzone line 15 yards closer to mid field and called it a TD.

I hope the ref'n in this game was not an indication of what to expect for the rest of the bowl week.

Angry fans are more entertaining than the game sometimes :p

I'm angry at the officiating, not the game really. Yeah, I wish Michagan would have won, they are part of the Big Ten (which has 11 teams?) afterall. The refs were crappy. They missed calls on BOTH sides of the ball. I like to let the teams decide the ball game not the stupidity of the refs. If Michigan lost because they got beat fine, but when the refs decide the outcome of the game I get irrate.

don't forget that michigan had to blow 2 time outs that they would have had at the end of the game to stop the clock so the refs would review plays that obviously should have been reviewed.

Yepper, the officials in that game dropped the ball. I especailly liked when they stood over the ball, looking at each other for about 10-15 seconds, while the clock was running at the end of the game. I just hope it doesn't happen in any of the other bowls this week. That wasn't fair to either team, no matter who you were cheering for.
For the record though, I thought Nebraska played a hell of a second half and deserved to win that game, even though the refs screwed da pooch. They played a great game and bounced back from those back to back INTs. I tip my hat to 'em. Gotta respect the skills.

Why is an unranked team in a bowl game anyway? Nevermind I already know why....

It's all about the Benjamins.
Though I find it kinda funny that Penn State #3 is playing Florida State #22. That one just boggles my mind.
