Vegas setting this line so low is begging folks to take the cardinals.
& that muffed 1 point conversion turned into a 2 point conversion and may make the difference.

I hope Louisville loses now for not covering this spread. They definitely don't deserve a national championship shot. The Big East sucks.

How'd Georgia do against a Big East team last year in their BCS bowl game again Shorty?

Don't start this shit. When I get some time I'm undertaking a research project that's going to lay to rest the whole "which conference is better than the others" debate.

That is allways a debate question. IMO, the SEC is one of the hardest to run the table in and one of the strongest. The Big East has been down somme in past years, but is no cupcake anymore (with the exception of some teams like UCONN). W va, Louisville, Rutgers (surprisingly) and South FL manage to field some damn good talent and get enough TV time now that kids from Texas, Florida, etc... are heading there.
Also, some of the best talent takes into account that going to the SEC means you probably wont see a national title because of the balance.
The SEC has an air or arrogance about it. If they get a bowl game against what they consider a "lesser" team, they tend to fall on their face thinking it will just be a cakewalk. A perfect example was AU not taking Wisky seriously and getting their asses handed to them.
The surprising conf to me this year is the ACC. Wake, Ga Tech, NC State, Clemson...while not being in national title contention, have some damn strong programs. Who would have thought FSU and miami would be the disappointments they are.
Really, the PAC10 seems to be the overhyped conf. to me.

I couldn't agree more with all these statements, and I'll leave it at that for now.

So, if Arkansas can finishing running the table in the SEC, I'll be expecting a groundswell of support for them in the Title game. TIA.

Arkansas is usually a mid range team or a doormat. This year they are really looking good. Watching them handle a strong Tennessee team as I type this.
They probably will get the respect if they can take out Florida in the SEC title game I'm betting :)

Yea, I can tell you really boring stories about the "almost" seasons going back to '64. I'm a fan, big fan. I'm also stone cold serious about the ( many ) years we sucked. I honestly called the 94 basketball championship at the beginning of the 92-93 season in our game against Memphis. I knew that wasn't the year, but I was sure they would be ready by the next year. If you are a betting person, put money on them in Vegas now ( no guarantees /cough ). Next year McFadden will be healthy for the full season and Mustain will have learned how to play at the college level.
At least as long as McFadden dodges the AR running back curse, McHeisman should be in the bag.
