OK, this Friday 3-6 est and this Saturday noon-3 est, Sarrana aka Ankyl Byter and myself are DJing on the internet station again. And Id like to know what everyone thinks, ie music selection and how we sound over all.
I know i can count on everyone here to be honest in their opinions even Capt Quim aka Halo. Going start a thread on the Nag boards for you all to go to town on, so dont pull any punches. Just refrain from personal attacks. If you want you can pm me and tell me what you did with my dead mother if its personal and all.

Also if you do try to listen via Netscape youll have to copy the link and paste it in "listen to url" for some reason Gameamp isnt netscape friendly. You also might need Winamp to listen, not sure if thats been fixed yet. www.mmoradio.com is the webpage link you can connect from there

oh and for those worried that listening to the show will screw your game up, i listen while playing EQ, EQ2, WoW and SGW and havent had a problem with lag

Just a general question, what kind of music will you be playing? ie, what genre will it fall under?

We as in Sarrana and I like all kinds, from Techno, 80's, modern Rock, might even slip a country song in just to grate on Osgilliaths nerves

I listened to your debute and ya played something I didnt care for hehe, i tried gettin into the irc but couldnt sent a request threw the main page thing not sure if ya ever got that or not hehe.. On a side note the whole panty thing wont work could of told ya that try using a old pair of panty hose stretched out around a coat hanger if you havent gotten a pop-guard yet, tricks ya learn being a guitarist in a band is insane hehe.. Next time make sure u or the wife has windows messanger running so i can request that way.. All in all wasnt too bad could tell ya prolly had to changeyour drawers a few time from nerves though haha, just relax and dont try so hard.. :) Best play original Crazy Train this time instead of that shiat band that has to sample someone elses material to create there song :mad:

hehe ok Ill have some Billy Idol for you guys waiting, and Isva we got some dencent mics now, and Ill have my MSN up. I should also warn everyone the station is PG-13. That is both a blessing and a bane.

Hope ya got pop guards with them even the best mic money can buy will still pop on ya here and there...

New mics, guards, mixer...we've got some decent equipment now, no more undie covered mics. And our music selection is getting bigger and better every day. Shorty likes the 80's, which isn't bad, and that techno crap where as I'm into the punk cover stuff. We're trying to play plenty of the 80's hair band stuff and current stuff as well.

I wish I'd known you were listening Isva - I had some Lynyrd Skynyrd ready just for you.

So let us know what you want to hear and we'll get it =) We're looking for suggestions!!

And yeah...we were way friggen nervous our first time out but I've done 2 shows and Shorty has done 4 so we're slowly but surely getting over it.

I think you guys are doing good, pretty good selection of music from what i've heard so far, except Nickelback and kid rocks version of Saturday night's alright origonaly done by Elton Jon. Just remember to relax and have fun. I know ankyl told me when she first started to do DJ assistant for MMO Radio that she realy wanted to be a DJ. So I hope you guys enjoy it.

Well, just opened it now. Now I enjoy electronic music, but the song playing right now is in the genre of 'boring and horribly repetitive techno'. The DJ said it was called Roots or something.

And now 'I touch myself' is on. I think I'll wait till you guys are on there again to listen,heh.

I don't hate 80's metal thank yous, just most hair metal. There was plenty of metal from the 80's that was quite the opposite of suck.

And yes, there is some good hair metal. It's just a severe minority. Bret michaels? *shudder*
