OK, I will admit that this old rascal is at times a sentimental romantic.

That said, "New Amsterdam" had it's debut last night, and while the concept of an immortal in our midst is definitely not new, I liked the idea that this one is only immortal until he finds that one true love that is out there for each of us. Plus, I always like checking out the new cop shows, since I like solving puzzles, which are the basis of any cop show.

I will continue watching this one until it shows me it can not maintain a good story line.

i thought it was alright at best, its like a chickflick drama with a immortal theme to try and suck guys into it.

It was alright, definately some potential to grow. The writers can't keep using his experience as a get out of jail card however. Everytime something challenging came up in the case, he used his long life and connections to solve it. The only mystery in the cop drama was his search for a love.

I thought it was pretty decent actually. I thought the picture montage of the growth of times square was actually pretty interesting. I wonder if anyone actually has any photos similar to that series.
