Nope but i'll probably be there for Mardi Gras. Met a friend at UVA that has a house there. Cannot wait :)

Mardi Gras in New Orleans basically a controlled riot. That being said it is fun the first couple times but for the people who live near here, the beads just aren't worth it anymore :)

Yeah, I've lived in NO my whole life and Mardi Gras is a blast, it's part of our culture and most people here really do love it... it's Bourbon Street and the tourists idea that my girlfriend wants to show her boobs for beads that she has 10,000,000 of in her attic that piss us off.

I won't go to the fan-faire, but I'll be in NO for Mardi Gras and Halloween -- well Baton Rouge at least... stupid college.
