I just bought the same CPU, what board are you putting it in? I'm still shopping around for mine

It runs SWTOR, CoH, and Rift on Ultra settings without a hiccup. I have never owned a higher end system and holy crap this thing is good. My MoBo is ASUS with some new overclocking features built in that auto tunes things and it has added some umphh to it.

And did you have to flash the bios before it recognized the cpu?

It is a ASUS M5A97. Great board, auto-overclocks, has USB 3.0 support on a couple of the ports. I have zero complaints about it

It has my cores running at 3.9 Ghz and i have no temp problems, without me changing a thing just letting the autotune taking over.

Well I just got the same board, I wanted the sabertooth, or crossfire but I wanted the extra $100 it would have cost me more ;)

If it doesn't work I'm coming after you :p
