Some very cool stuff there.

Another article can be found at Space.com (http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/technology/new_glass_techwed_040331.html) along with larger images, including the one at CNN.

Y'know, this picture is from less then a month ago, yet I get a very creepy 70's vibe from the pic.

Maybe we can get into a fashion phenomena that seems to happen to people as they age.

For instance, the old guy, who looks old enough to be my dad (and I'm 37), seems to be wearing a plaid button up shirt. Bet he listens to Country and Western (the old stuff like Johnny Cash). Nice comb-over!

I guess my point is, some people tend to wear what they did growing up. I wear jeans w/ white tennis shoes and a t-shirt (all the jocks wore the same mostly). Where as a buddy of mine still wears 501's, deck shoes (you know, the brown ones with the white soles), polo shirts, and Varnay's (sp). Varnay, the V on a ski. Hours man, hours wasted looking for that sucker! Preppy bastards!

Some people just never update their fashions?

I think you are right. People sort of freeze in fashion and hair styles. You can pick out the 1988-1990 graduating class of women. They *still* have big hair.
