I'll be sleeping on the couch before that ball drops. Can't seem to stay awake for it..must be the 2 pounds of steak and 3 pounds of shrimp topped off with a couple gallons of Sprecker.

Usually spend the year being the only one awake in the house. But I do stay up long enough to reflect on the previous year...

Happy New Year, guys and gals.

I spent the holiday with my family. We watched movies and pigged out. We did manage to watch the ball drop. Ate our banana splits (our only real New Year tradition) and then curled up in bed all warm and cozy.

...and there's another year, gone to shit. :)

I got dumped a week before Christmas so needless to say, I had a far better New Years than I ever would have imagined. My friends totally came through for me in a pinch.
