I have two Tim Dwight autograph rookie cards from packs in I think 1998!!

I loved him coming out of Iowa. I went to a different Big 10 school, and got to watch him in college all the time. He was amazing in college.

If you have kept those cards in mint condition, put them somewhere safe and wait to see if he gets the Hall of fame nod down the road, at which point they may be worth a bit of cash.

I have a ton of cards from the 98 season. I have like 35 Manning and 30ish Moss Rookie Cards. I had been a card collector most of my life at that point so those cards are in Mint/Near Mint condition.

Tim Dwight, HoF? That's a good one!

My best rookie card collections though would be 95 Shaq rookie cards and 300+ Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards (including 5 Upper Deck ones).

I sold my last Griffey Upper Deck PSA 9 for $275, and now after his last few seasons, I bet the folks that were paying the big bucks for those cards are beating themselves up.

On a side note, I was doing a show and had someone come up and want to make a trade for a Tim Couch Ultra RC to complete their set. I took a Sammy Sosa Leaf RC in trade (ungraded), and sent it in and it was graded PSA 9, and I sold for $95. The Couch RC is now maybe worth $2.00, if that. :D

Am in the process of organizing what is left of the cards collection my son and I put together, and plan on dumping. Had a blast collecting, but we have both lost interest over the years.

And don't be too skeptical of Dwight's chances.
