The bills/falcons games is screaming at me. Vick is questionable. If he doesn't play, the bills could win in double digits. :)

Another interesting one if the bucs only being -3.5 playing the packers.

If there aren't copious amounts of money bet against the Vikings, there is something terribly wrong. An offense like that does not turn it around in one week, that shit takes years. . .

I know he had a bad game in week 2 ( one of his career worst, if not the worst) but no friggin' TD passes in two games? $@)($)@!!!

My best reciever (Santana Moss) had a bi-week too. Oh and Isacc Bruce leaves in the 2nd quarter with friggin' turf toe.

At halftime (10-9), I was thinking Seahwaks Don't Cover was looking good. :(

Im sitting here watching my back up quarterback, Tim Rattay (SF) haul 250 passing yards, 3TD passes, and 21 rushing yards which would have earned me over 32 points for a single player, compared to Payton's measly 10. Blah!

You think Tim Rattay is just having a good week agianst a crappy team(Dallas)?? Because I heard SF was thinking of starting Alex Smith soon. I'm considering trading Payton for a reciever and running back that I sorely need, but I don't want to trade if SF is going to bench Tim Rattay anytime soon.

Any suggestions from you stat tracking fantasy football studs out there?

Who would have thought that the colts would be winning and scoring less than 20 per game *boggle*?

This week was a big one for those that chose "won't cover" :p

P.S. It's hard to think trade manning. You know when ya do he'll break out for a 40 point game :/

Bah... Manning or 2 other decent players. I'm glad I went with Alexander instead of Manning. He already had the record. His focus this year is winning not worrying breaking his record.

Pick up Marvin Harrileson (spelling?), and another better than avg RB from that guys team. That way if Manning has a killer game you will get in on the goodies. :)

I've already got Warrick Dunn, and he gets me an average of at least 15 points a game which is ok, but he hasn't been getting many TDs and its a TD heavy fantasy league.

I wish I had Sean Alexander, he scored someone 48 points on their team. :( I'll see if Harrileson is available. What do you think about Caddilac Williams?

Also, any recievers that score at least 1 TD a game, with over 100 yards?

Cadi is saving one of the guy's ass in my league. Though once they get down to the goal line they may or may not dish the ball off to him. Which is true of any RB. It is all just a chance since we aren't there with the coaches calling the plays. Just hope they call your guys number. I hate to admit this cause I passed him over on a couple picks, but LaMont Jordan is looking like a decent running back this year, and with Collins and Moss on the field he is getting some good points in my league.

I'd say your best bet on this one is Moss or TO. They probably have the best chance of achieving this goal on a consistant basis.

If you want to look at trading off Manning, I would look at the other teams in your league. You are going to want to make your offer to someone who wants a high scoring QB, well at least the chance for having one. And see what their roster looks like. Hopefully those guys will have a need an some decent players they are willing to trade off.

Just my 2 cents on it. Though it may be worth only 1.

Its good advice. I've found at least 3 teams that are sorely lacking in a high scoring QB but have decent recievers or runningbacks so i've already proposed a few trades, but before I sign on the dotted lines, do you think SF QB Tim Rattay will be viable for the rest of the season? Because I'm hearing rumors that SF might start Alex Smith in the near future.

I've heard the rumors about that too. But if I'm a head coach in the NFL, and my QB is finding ways to win games I'm not going to make a switch. I'd wait and see if SF starts loosing to teams with crappy records. If that starts to happen expect to see a change. Though if SF plays it smart they will treat Smith like Carson Palmer. Give him a full year to get to know the ropes, watch film and LEARN. And pick up some more of a supporting cast in the off season. Give this guy the tools to succeed. Otherwise you may be looking at another Ryan Leach. :)

Of course all this is hypothetical. Rattay could take a shot next weekend or during practice and end up watching the season from the sidelines. but this is true of all the players in the NFL. Just some more prone to injuries that others.

haha ya thats true. Its secretly my wish on many starters for the other teams in my league. I hope they all get nailed with injurys and start biting it big time! I mean shit, the way Jacksonville is running their back into the ground, (like 30 something carries last game) its bound to happen sooner or later.

what a mean thing to wish for, huh? haha.

I'm kinda looking at NYJ's third stringer QB as a backup to Rattay since Pennington is now out for the season and the 2nd stringer is hurt with almost the exact same injury.

If I could nab a RB that is consistent (like Alexander is looking) and a high TD reciever in trade for Manning, then put Rattay as QB with a young rookie backup, I may have a chance at making a comeback.

I think the bucs are going to ride him like the dolphins did Williams. They can survive with a mediocre QB if he keeps producing.

By week 8, I'd bet he is gone.

They get Arizona next week. Then Indy, a bye, the skins and Tampa. The only game I see them having a chance in is AZ. Figure a few straight losses and they'll look to change QBs.

Hmm, disheartening. I guess i'm going to think twice about trading Manning. I just picked up Mewelde Moore and a couple recievers from Atlanta (Finneran??) so I'm hoping that this is the week Manning turns it around. I need to win this week. haha.

I got 3 TDs off Steve Smith. He is Carolina's main reciever and Delhomme is able to get him the ball so he will produce. Keenan McCardell is another reciever that is somewhat "under the radar" that will produce nice numbers.

And yeah, Cadillac is the shit. I've read/heard on ESPN though that he's getting banged up, so who knows what the rest of the season will bring.

Kinda like Julius Jones of Dallas? Didn't he get like 71 touches last game alone? ouch.

I'm in a really deep league with 16 teams, so the quality players are pretty much long gone. I'm gonna have to pray that Manning turns it around, but its going on week 4 now and he's having a bad streak.
