About every time I would consider the bears done and have the channel guide up, they would get a break.
I swear I allmost turned this game off like 3 times in the early 3rd quarter.
Tough loss, but you gotta give Leinart props on how he's doing so far :)

Leinart looked great, too bad the rest of his team looks like complete ass, with the exception of the receivers.
Edge 36 carries for 55 yards? Wow, crazy amount of carries to give a guy averaging less than 2 yards per carry.

and doesn't put up much of anything in fantasy football numbers either.

I'm not a huge Leinart fan. In fact, I hate the guy. He is more reminiscent of a Carson Daly-esque MTV VJ than a poised, playoff-calibre quarter back. He did look good against Chicago, but I think a lot of that was just horrible defense. There was no coverage, no pass rush, broken tackles etc. The only saving grace for Chicago were those timely turnovers.
Leinart wasn't exactly making outstanding or amazing passes. Mistake-free football is good. Is this going to be consistant? I'm doubting it. How about a Brunnell 21/21 one week flare.
The buck stops at Warner... Erm, Rowen. If Leinart implodes then who? What if Edgerrin blows a game? I was looking forward to watching the Cards this year but now I could care less. While Denny Green's outburst was humorous, firing the offense coordinator? I'm not so sure that is the reason they lost the game. It's hard to respect a team who just wants to place the blame on someone else, when their situation is obviously one they manufactured themselves. (Hi Yankees and A-Rod. Talk about some disingenuous fans)
If Rackers made that field goal would Rowen still be gone? I doubt it.

As a long time Vikings watcher, I am quite familiar with Green and his temper tantrums; he is Prima Dona personified. I was not at all surprised to see him fire someone, only that it took this many games.
The Cards have some talent, and simply need a talented coach.
