Ok, went in not expecting much and had my mind BLOWN!

By far one of the best martial arts movies I've seen in a long time.

This movie makes Kill Bill look like The Sound of Music!

I saw the trailer, and its something I'll see at the big pictures, fo sho.

I just have a problem seeing a movie called "Ninja Assassin." That has to be one of the 10 worst names for a movie that I've ever seen. The name alone will probably prevent me from being able to get my wife to watch it with me.

I was thinking the same thing, what a dumb title. Apparently RT disagrees with us, but that doesn't help the film's review any.

I agree the name is indeed full of suck. Shame too, because I otherwise would have stayed away. But my wife wanted me out of the house and I figured I'd go watch a movie with a name that I KNOW she wouldn't want to go see hehe.

Special effects were good.....that's about it.

Plot holes, flat out odd gimmicks and subpar acting killed this movie for me.

Don't waste cash if you're expecting a well rounded movie.

Sub par acting? Sub par script with crappy editing. There is a well known pacing for movies, and if you don't follow it, it had better be because there's tons of information flow, not just time wasting.

Effects were fun, though. Lots of blood.

I almost mentioned the big gimmik, used twice in the movie, but didn't want to ruin the one errrrr suprise of the movie lol.
