Site that displays deep biases within the big media corporations. Including the ABC memo that was given out over the weekend ordering its employee's to attack Bush and scrutinize Bush more because they feel they must help Kerry because Bush has been too hard on him.

Also I find it interesting that the moderators for the debates are supposed to be unbiased, but appoint pawns of the big media giants like ABC and CBS who are clearly liberal. At least in my point of view Bush, in general, was asked harder questions. Kerry on the other hand, in general, was given soft ball questions.

This is bringing back memories back in '92 when Bush Senior was hammered time and time again in the town hall debate by the supposedly "unbiased" and independent moderator and participants.

Actually, this is what ABC's News Political Director, Mark Halperin, said in that internal memo:
The New York Times (Nagourney/Stevenson) (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/08/politics/campaign/08campaign.html?ex=1254974400&en=c3ae22d60b342695&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland) and Howard Fineman (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6201520/site/newsweek/) on the web both make the same point today: the current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done.

Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win.

We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest, but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides "equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that. They find that Bush's attacks play more loosely with the truth than Kerry's, and that those distortions are more central to Bush's strategy. Rather than simply say that both candidates distort or exaggerate, ABC will report the degree to which the candidates engage in falsehood (as ABC sees it). If tBush has indeed been so much less truthful than Kerry in the campaign, then that's Bush's fault, not ABC's.

Thats 3 blocks from my office, I pass it on the way to work. There is a Bush poster on their front lawn. Who watches the watchdogs?
