Hell I seen the anti Bush crowd quite supportive of Micheal More's deliberate lies, in order to avoid being hypocritcal they should swallow this just as easily.

Sadly there are Anti Bush folks who would have to see a mushroom cloud over Israel and Saddam actually claiming he did it on Al Jazera to think he MIGHT have wmd's.

Folks will chose to believe what they want, no massive amounts of data will change the facts for either side.

I have positive evidence that the US Government has met with Saddam Hussein and Kim Jong Il. Therefore, the US Government is allied with Saddam Hussein and Kim Jong Il.

I'm waiting for records of shipment of WMDs to Syria. I'm waiting for letters between OBL and Hussein expressing a commitment to work together against the US (or, really, anyone allied with us). I'm not just waiting for them, I'm looking forward to them.

But a selective release of vague documents at a time when support for Bush and the war (and the Republican party) are at an all time low (and sinking) isn't very convincing -- except to the already convinced.

Our info beforehand was sketchy and, as it turns out, completely false.

I would welcome evidence to support the rationale that has cost so many.

I do not find a handwritten page without any official sign to be conclusive evidence.

Fandros, would you be willing to accept being fired from your job due to a handwritten page being discovered that stated you had met with someone and discussed the sale of aircraft parts "through the fence", with no corroboration or visible proof that you had had such a discussion or even knowledge of the other subject?

This is all good food for further investigation, but I will not give it any more credence than I would an unsubstantiated allegation against Fanny, until there is some supporting evidence.

But that's not happening with Bush at all.
Digging for info on the Presidental Candidate you don't like that's in power is the nature of the business.
We all know Clinton was a saint, and W is Evil Incarnate.
If anything that supports his actions come to light, it's suspect, or discarded.
But if Clinton were caught on tape, slitting the throat of an intern, I'm sure that someone would just chalk it up to the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" <TM>.
