I can just see the Iraqi scientists scratching their heads and saying "Now which pipe did I hide the yellowcake in?".

Anyway, to play devil's advocate it has not yet been proven the scrap metal came from Iraqi sources. Likely, but not proven.

This proves one of 3 things.

1. This is actually traces of the Weapons of Mass Destruction that Iraq possesses and the world is in grave danger. (right.)

2. Theyre trying to get rid of old nuclear weapons from the previous war with Iran and never had any intention of using the WOMD at all.

3. Britain couldnt find weapons of mass destruction anywhere so they hijack the shipment, plant some yellowcake and let the rest play itself out, to ensure that the integrity of America and Britain is kept in tact.

Akipt, so ready to jump on this as fact. Be slightly more skeptical, this is hardly fact in the newsagents eyes, should it be in yours?

Environment Ministry spokesman Wim Van der Weegen said the material was discovered in a small steel industrial container used to connect pipes or electrical wires. That name rules.

Kinda neet. Random ambiguous article is posted and for the most part everyone ignored it simply because...well, it doesnt prove or disprove shit.

There is hope for us!
