I am not sure how many may have caught this interview today, but it was one of the more impressive interviews I have seen with him to date (and I really do not like Chris Wallace).
As much as Wallace seemed determined to push his agenda, subtle as it may have seemed, Obama did an excellent job of using the opportunities to explain and define himself more than I have seen or heard before this. He also did a nice job of slapping McCain up side the head, when it comes to tax policy. He reminded Wallace that while McCain is now talking about extending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy he had been an outspoken critic of those same tax cuts when Bush first proposed them, both because they favored the wealthy and he objected to cutting revenue during a time of war.
Obama and McCain debates will definitely prove interesting.
The interview is one of the few "events" of this campaign so far I would recommend as must see television, as far as politics goes. For those like myself that have questioned Obama, this was a wonderful window into a more in-depth look at the man. For those rabid supporters who like to trash anyone not backing him, this interview should give you a lot more ammunition to use in your arguments.
2 thumbs up :D
