That's a two year old article ... and its still ~3 years away, they haven't even started writing it yet and won't until Lost ends in 2010.

Didn't have a thing on Tommyknockers, IMO. Remains King's best work.

It would have required an LoTR approach if done for the big screen as you suggest, or too much would have had to be left on the cutting room floor.
And it was too great of a story to betray like that.

The Dark Tower also will require serializing to make it worthy of King's work.
