Sorry I am at a local breakfast place (Elemak it is Taco Kitchen by Ft Sam may look like crap but great taco's) eating ontheir covered patio and smell rain and see the droplets making mud on my truck !!!! Sorry we are in stage 2 water restriction here in San Antonio, and will most likly be in stage 3 by next week. What does this mean? No more mowing the grass as it will be dead in a week, and now may be the time to zero-scape the front yard atleast. Just thought I would share that in the time that it took for me to type this it has stopped and only made it more hummid here :(

I feel for you. We just came off water restrictions last week, after years of no car washing, deck cleaning, extremely limited watering, etc.

I live here in the High Desert in Utah. For 8 years we were on restriction, yet folks kept trying to keep their grass green with sneaky watering tactics.

The last few years however we are off restrictions as our mountains have received very heavy snow. Hell this June as of the 18th we have received up to 3inch of rain.

Top it off we usually have snow melt by now off the high mountains due to June warming up. It hasn't ( only 60 today ).

Change of global weather patterns or just /shrug

I am curious about how they resolved the water shortage problem there, San. I recall reading a few years back about the "looming disaster" as far as reservoir(s) and water rights and such.

Was it simply waiting for Mother Nature to restock the supply, or has some form of compromise been worked out among the neighboring states?

Mother Nature.

These idiots haven't made any progress at all on the impasse around shared water rights, far as I know.

we have 11 straight days of rain, and we're still on restrictions, and lakes are still 5+ feet lower

All it has done here since like May is rain, rain hard, thunderstorm, rain some more. I have to mow about 5 days because the grass is growing like it's on 'roids. No water restrictions here, you guys are welcome to some of this stuff I'm sick of it :(

No it is on Rittiman between Harry Wurzbach and IH 35 in the strip mall next to where the army surplus store used to be. It is a tiny hole in the wall but it is awesome!

Fild, South Jersey (and I assume the rest) has been getting rained on pretty much daily. Getting a tad old, even though I know we're having water problems. Is it the same where you are in PA?
