The Ravens are better, but they go to Denver while the pats get to blast the dolphins @ home.

Also debating at starting Winslow @ Carolina instead of Gates playing the steelers (Rivers doesn't seem to get him the ball much).

If you don't have to worry about covering a spread then I don't see why you could ever rationalize picking Baltimore. Miami looks horrible at this point.

This question was about which Defense and special teams for him to play on his fantasy team, not which team would win their respective games.

Because of that, I'd go with Baltimore.

I realize this - I'd still take the Pats defense at home against Miami than the Ravens at Denver.

We don't really know how good the Ravens are. For that matter, I consider Denver to be a variable in this as well. The Pats are one of the most consistant teams in NFL history. Miami? Well - the only way I see them winning is if they get emotional about this game. Some teams like to play from behind, remember the 1-7 Panthers? Somehow I doubt the current Miami lacks that fortitude.

I would take the local high school defense against Culpepper.

Raven's D is at 33 points in 4 (less than 8 points a game)
