I typically watch movies in spurts so instead of me doing a new thread for each i figure can combine some.

OUtlander- Human fro a advanced civilization crashes in Viking timeframe. Battles a alien monster that he inadvertantly brought with him.

IT has a 13th warrior feel to it, style wise but lots of cheese and lots of lame acting. The blew their wad on the AI for the monster which aftrer you find out the whole story is decent. This gets 2 out of 5 leafblowers and it not a NetFlix recommendation, but a bored on a wednesday night with reruns on and nothing on the dvr movie.

Flash of Genius-about a engineer professer that develops the variable delay window wiper which gets stolen by Ford leaving the inventor trying to sue the Big Auto companies.

GREAT movie, greg kinnear is a good actor, and the movie is well done. A hair slow in the middle but its a decent drama about the little guy verse the big guy. 4out 5, NetFlix it.

Punisher 2- yeh this is horrid crap that shouldnt be allowed to be viewed by humans. I liked the first one to an extent this one was just bad. 0 out of 5, write the director and tell him you want Greystones time back for watchign this.

Flash of Genius sounds interesting.

You ever seen the movie "Pathfinder"?
It's a movie about a viking boy who is the sole survivor of a shipwreck in north america about 600 years before columbus discovered america.
He's found and raised by indians till adulthood and that's when the vikings return to cleanse the land so they can settle it. Which pretty much means the original inhabitants have to go.
Long story short, he helps out his adopted people against his birth people and it's pretty interesting in how he does it.
It's not the most original or great movie and has a few flaws but i recommend it for a good weekend movie.

Hmm, i guess Outlander has nothing to do with Outland, the simple story of a policeman busting a drug ring...on a mining colony on a moon of one of the outer planets.

Flash of Genius is amazing Fil. Go see it.
