Whee even I have to admit that did not sound too spiffy. Still like her and McCain over an racist anti-American Terrorist supporting separatist though. America will be in good hands under the McCain Palin Empire. Can't wait.

rofl.

St. Augustine of Hippo and St. Thomas in the Summa Theologica, decreed that the fetus acquires a soul after 40 days for males and after 80 days for females

Two Christian saints... infanticidal maniacs!

Seriously.. how can this fucking debate be taken seriously.

When does a soul enter a Fetus? The divinely inspired Thomas Aquinas said you got 40 days.

Yeah, better to force a woman who is impregnated via rape to live that ordeal daily for the next nine months, suffer out of pocket expenses for medical and prenatal care, just so that someone totally unrelated to the woman or her plight and who offers nothing to assist her can feel self-righteous.

The republicans are such nice people... They believe life begins at conception, so they keep the baby alive and then 40 years later when he/she murders someone they send em to death row :)

It is also very nice that Palin's daughter made the responsible "CHOICE".

1100ish capital punishments since 1976. How many millions aborted?

To paraphrase Clinton and Kerry, capital punishment should be rare, but safe and legal.

I thought you were all about choice, having seen your many past posts. From what I understand abortion is quite a personal and extremely difficult decision for a woman.

1) Where, as a man, do feel you have the better judgment than a woman who must make the choice between aborting a pregnancy or carrying a baby to full term? Also, if you were to get your desired laws on outlawing legal abortion would you in fact be willing to pay more in taxes to insure those children would have a fair and equal chance at having an at least lower middle class life with good education and medical care if the mother would not be able to care for the child she is forced to carry to full term?

2) Where as a republican do you feel you have the better judgement to, lets say, attack Iran preemptively which would likely result in the deaths of innocent born and unborn children, than to place more effort into negotiation and mutually beneficial agreement between two countries which would likely result in those children having a positive future?

3) Would you be willing to send your child off to a war where a nation did not have the capability to attack us but we attacked because in the future there was a possibility that said country might one day attack us and even though that probability of us being attacked was quite slim the invasion would be responsible for the deaths of thousands of unborn and born children?

Dude. Enough with the retardation.

The only acceptable legal standard for if an abortion is murder or not is the scientific one.

If there is no brain function, if there is no self awareness, if there is no, even massively remote, ability to function on its own, then it is not a human life.

The only way you can prove that life begins at conception is by showing the existance of a Soul. This is an impossible task.

Nor can you legislate a soul into existence.

So, it is a moral question based on religious belief barring any scientific data to change the debate. As such, the decision is each womans.

I've drawn the line at sucking out the baby's brains and calling it medical waste just before it's birthed.

I am also completely disgusted that anyone would let a baby die in a hospital closet because it miraculously managed to survive the abortion.

There you go again Rover trying to use logic against the people who tout hypocricy as political policy.

Logic would dictate that over turning Roe V Wade one would have also have to be in full support and willing to fund things such as WiC, foodstamps, public housing programs, low income education assistance....you know those thing most likely needed by a teenaged mother who gave birth by a matter of law.

Kinda of like when you wanna start 2 wars that devolve into protracted occupations you might wanna direct more funds to things like the Veterans Administration.

But then again I don't get the point of how hunting from a helicopter equates to sport so WTF do I know.

The point is this; The pilot is much like the "designated driver" You can then crack a few beers, unwrap some microwave cheeseburgers and shoot away, the sport is that you are outsmarting the wolf because he thinks you are a film crew filming him and he ... bah...forget it.

She completely changes the subject when the economy is brought up. Sounds about right.
