Any photo people in here?

I just bought a DSLR (Nikon D40) and Im having a blast learning and taking pictures..

Anyone else share this addiction here?

I got the same camera last spring, it you take you a while discovering all the facets of it, have fun!

Think there are least three threads where Rover and I recommended that very camera or its bigger brother. They are on sale @ Costco as we speak too.

I am a true photography addict as are my kids. For digital I have a D300 my girls have the D40 and my son has a Canon DSLR.

My oldest daughter has a black & white photography and darkroom class at school, I am a huge believer that to really understand techniques it is a must to learn film first, each of them did and my oldest daughter placed 3rd in a national contest for a photograph titled "Despair".

The D40 is an excellent camera as I'm sure you know.

I use the Rebel XTi. Love it. For point and shoot I use Sony Cybershot.
