I still play but keep to my casual bent religously so still lots for me to do. in 2 years i have a 70 shaman a 66 rogue and lately have gotten a mage to 26. you wouldnt believe the sheer amount of dicking around I seem to accomplish.
Shammy has full S2 and PVP mount so i guess you can pin alot of time spent on that. God curse anything that involves more than 1 WSG mark.

Quit a while back and came back somewhat recently to get a couple things accomplished before the expansion (just got my netherdrake, got myself to Exalted with Aldor also). Now I have everything I want on my main that I can get while playing casually... been playing an alt somewhat regularly.

Pretty much play every night. Have a couple friends that recently started have linked accounts (whoohoo free month and mount).

Also the new linked accounts get triple experience up to 60 if you play together. Plus some other features like summon the friend to you, grant a level. Friend and I leveled to 60 in 2 weeks with me raiding 4 nights a week.

I rerolled 2 weeks ago on a PvP server using recruit a friend to 2 box.

Leveling untwinked at triple xp (while grouped with the recruited character xp from kills/quests is tripled) it took me 2 days 4 hours /played time to reach 60.

Lots of changes to the game to prepare people for the xpac and get them 'up to speed', including mounts available at level 30.

The downside to leveling so fast for me, was that I could barely keep my skills updated let alone armor/weapons. At one point I was unable to train my shamans spells for 10-12 levels. It quickly adjusts once you get to outlands with the inflated quest rewards/gold though.

I remember back in the day it took forever to do 50-60... hammered that out in a little over 5 hours one night.

Oh and as an FYI, the patch that is going live before Lich King (the patch is supposed to be coming in a couple weeks) is going to make 60 - 70 faster. Its also going to introduce Inscription and the new talent points.

Is WoW losing steam a little? I've never played it more than 5 minutes but from what I hear they seem to be making it extremely convenient and easy these days, no?

I just re-subbed about a month ago for the first time in a year. My last char got banned for selling gold and the druid I made at launch got sold. It's about the same, which works out for me since I don't always have time to devote hours to play. If anyone is looking for some PVP fun I'm on Onyxia!
