What's that mean in English?

Means he won 481 bucks in about 10 minutes.. And like he said some of those hands he wouldnt even consider playing on a full table =)

To explain a bit more :
I'll assume you know what poker is (possible combinaisons for a 5 cards hand with order of value).
He was playing Omaha Hi/Lo (High/Low) poker, a "playful" version of poker where the best and worst (means without pair or better, straight is possible iirc) hands share the pot. You start with 4 "hidden" cards dealt to each player, then there is a bet turn, then the flop where 3 "shown" cards are on the board shared with all players, a bet turn, the turn with one new card on the board, a bet turn, the river with the final card for all players on the board, and a final bet turn.
Each player has to make the best (and worst in this kind of poker) hand of 5 cards, with the obligation to use 2 cards from their first deal.

Interesting - I didn't now you played both high and low at the same time. Whenver I played with friends, we did this thing were you choose whether you were playing for the high or low pot.

Yeah, Omaha High-Low (or Omaha/8 - for "Eight or Better") is played high and low at the same time.

AA23 or AA2K with both aces suited to the 23/2K are considered the best possible starting hands for the game.

Focusing on Omaha High-Only for a second, the primariy difference between it and Hold'em is that you must always play TWO and exactly TWO cards from your hand for the pot.

If the board is As Ks Qs Ts 4c, and you have Js 2c 2h 2d in your hand, you do not have a stright flush. In fact, you have no flush at all. Furthermore, your best possible hand is a pair of two's, playing 22AKQ for your best possible hand.

In Omaha High-Low, not only do you try to make the best possible hand, but you also try to make the best low hand. The best low hand is, regardless of suit, A2345. The worst possible playing low hand is 45678. To qualify for a low hand there must be five total unique cards eight or less; three from the board, and two from your hand. That, right there, is the single most misunderstood facet of the low portion of Omaha.

If you have AA23, the most powerful hand in Omaha/8, and the board ends up being KAA24, you will most likely end up winning the high with AAAAK, but you won't be able to win the low. You won't have five UNIQUE cards 8 or under. The best low hand in this example, is, of course, 3-5, which makes the wheel.

Finally, you have to understand that, in the AA23 example, you play exactly two cards for the high, and exactly two cards for the low, but they can overlap. If the board ends up A278K, you would make AAA9K (with your two aces) for a high, and A2378 for the low, playing YOUR A3, and the board's 278. So, in this example, you use AA, and A3, and never use your 2. It confuses some people. Since you en up playing an 8-low in this example, anyone with almost any other two low cards would be able to beat you. A 65 would even beat you (because they make A2567), and 34 would make the best possible low hand of A2347.
