I have to credit Thorimir for sending this link to me; he was concerned my blood pressure had not been elevated recently.

I thank him tho', as this article really confirms (for me at least) the contention that Vice President Dick Cheney is a fraud and a phony pseudo-patriot who only gives loyalty to the bank that secures his funds.

Not only was Cheney making money off the Iranian government at a time when his own government was saying it was a no-no, but he was actively proclaiming exactly the opposite of what he now espouses as he tries to get this country and it's armed forces embroiled in yet another war.

If there is no investigation of this crooked phony it is only because the halls of Congress in Washington are filled with men and women with just as little integrity and conviction of principles as he.

In addition to the activities with Iran, Cheney and Company also were playing footsie with Libya, which was another violation of US sanctions: "In 1995, Halliburton paid a $1.2 million fine to the U.S. government and $2.61 million in civil penalties for violating a U.S. trade embargo by shipping oilfield equipment to Libya. Federal officials said some of the well servicing equipment sent to Libya by Halliburton between late 1987 and early 1990 could have been used in the development of nuclear weapons."

Could it be that same type of equipment was sent to Iran, and is now a part of the Iranian nuclear program, and could this explain Cheney's rabid insistence on bombing Iran, in the hope of destroying that evidence?

This man belongs in a federal prison cell, not in any position of power and respect.
