So...my PC takes a moment to power on when you push the button. If the PSU is plugged in and switched on, it's maybe a two or three second delay after pushing the power switch. The fan whirs briefly, then one, two, three until the system boots up. Boot time is normal for any PC. It's been like this since I built the unit maybe 3 years ago.
Lately, I noticed if I turn off the PSU completely using the switch on the back, or unplug it, it takes about two minutes or more before it actually powers up after pressing the power button.
It's not hard to imagine what's going on, but I'm looking for confirmation. My graphics card just failed, and although monitoring software says the PSU is supplying the right amount of power, I'm wondering if there's issues when everything is under load.
Money is sort of tight, so I'm looking for second opinions before I start ordering hardware.
