Is it me, or does the look on everyone else in those clips make the perfect statement about her idiocy?

I fully understand why people still support McCain. I am honestly baffled why anyone would support this woman.

She will be a great president, bridging divides by talking hockey!

I don't see anything wrong with that.

You are correct, there is nothing wrong with dressing like that, however in this case they only started it after it was pointed out that their wardrobe cost more than the yearly salaries of any five families they claimed to identify with.

Just a hypocrisy issue I have with them, they would have continued on the path they were unless it was proving to be politically damaging...so much for maverickyness.

To be fair, they weren't dressing like that before the GOP machine got ahold of them. It's not as if Palin went down to the mall and picked those clothes out with Cindy's black Amex.

The whole issue is sort of absurd.

I don't give a rat's ass about the women's clothes. It's so far from anything relevant in this election. There are so many other problems with Palin, that anyone that's focused on her clothing can't see the forest for the trees.

Yeah, it doesn't reflect badly on Palin so much as on the people managing her campaign.

Besides, Palin's anti-science, anti-intellectual views were enough to make up my mind on her. I don't want someone that is willfully ignorant in any position of power.

I agree with you on this except that the GOP machine has always made it an issue as far as the way people dress or what their hair cuts cost, really if someone is willing to pay $400.00 for a haircut or $5k for a coat they can for all I care. The hypocrisy tho of look at them but ignore me is what is bothersome.

I have three issues with Palin that in my mind are legitimate.

1) Completely unqualified and I think lacks a real ability and desire to learn beyond what is necessary to repeat rhetoric.

2) Her association with AIP. This goes far beyond serving on a board with someone.

3) She has consistently, in her upward climb, fucked over EVERY person who has been her friend politically.

The woman has probably spent more money on clothes, than any any of us will see in our lifetimes.*

*note, this message does not imply I think the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate should be raped, because of the way she dresses. The intent of the message was to show that she is severely out of touch with regular people. If you take this message to mean that the poster has a distain for women, and believes physical violence or rape should occur to Mrs. Palin, please do us all a favor and take a flying fuck through a doughnut hole .

Now are they nice jeans, or jeans with holes? Us out here in the west tend to enjoy our denim as formal wear, and I shudder to think of what I'll have to wear daily if I move out east.

Not that anything changes. Rover's post sums up the important points, minus her violation and misunderstanding of the Constitution.
