so after many months of use it died a few days ago. We have spent two days going thru the bullshit hoops Sony has for repair. I bought it on black Friday last year so it's not even a year old.

Word of advice, save your receipt and register the damn thing. Box should be here in a few days, they apparently give a new system and do not repair.

My thoery is the latest firmwAre killed it. I tried everything but no-go. We can get about 30min into a movie and it just freezes to the point of having to power it off and back on.

So be careful folks. We primarily used ours for Bly ray movies. I'd say at least 98% of it's life was a movie player.

Well I have to give them props where it is due.

For all the trouble they put me through I got a replacement super fast. I sent my PS3 next day when I got the box and authorization from them. The next day they had my replacement on its' way to my house and I got it 2 days later.

So I sent two 360s back to M$haft and it took them 4 weeks and 8 weeks. I'll take the week of bullshit Sony puts you thru anyday.

I've had a PS3 and I love it so far. I hardly play my 360 anymore. I'm waiting for LittleBigPlanet to come out.
