Watched this movie last night. Mostly went because a ton of it was filmed in Wisconsin. Same guy who made this had made the movie Heat as well. Great gun shoot outs, one being filmed at a lake resort/restraunt right up the road from our family cabin. I remember going in there with my grandfather as a child and him telling me the story of how the FBI killed some inocent people at Little Bohemia thinking it was Dilinger. The killed Baby Face and a few others that night.

Not a bad movie at all, nothing to drop what you are doing and run out and see though. Enjoyable.

You can't fail to enjoy Depp, he's on fire these days. How was Bale? I'm hoping to see this at the weekend.

If you like Depp you will like this movie then, I am a fan of his as well. Bale was great, showed how nuts the newly formed FBI was going over trying to catch him.

Yeah, I as wondering how long before Tim Burton would be looking at attacking this masterpiece, and it was a natural that he would want Depp on board.

I like Depp in pretty much all roles, with the exception of Willie Wonka. I have a soft spot for Gene Wilder and his portrayal (a much more subtle Wonka with more suggested and understated than in your face), and Depp's over the top performance (as directed) made it difficult to watch. I did not like the remake at all.
