Just to warn folks, got seriously burned yesterday by a Female Dwarf Cleric named "Shortii", we had a LDoN go bad, and she apparently logged out while the party got wiped. (This was an assination mod in NRo)

She was also our Main Looter.

We failed the mission, and the booby prize, we waited around for about 45 min and she never showed up again.

I logged back on a few hours later and found her online in another Raid in NRo, talked to her, she said she'd give up my share of the split. She logged out again 5 min after she finished the Adventure. Said "I'd just have to find her later, she had to log out"

She owes:
Ulric (47? Ranger)
Rangard (think thats the spelling) 43 Human warrior,
Zail (Rouge),
Xonix (Iksar SK),
and me, Leprosee (45 Necro).

If you can help it. Missing ~200pp and being left to rot by your cleric IS a rather bad issue for many younger players. But then I guess if someone is not as uber and phat as you arrogant studs, they have nothing useful to say... right?

I'm not trying to come off sounding like an ass here, I'm really not, but LDoN zones do have GY's. A cleric leaving your body isn't the worst thing in this world. Although this cleric may be lame or whatever, even around level 50, 200pp really isn't anything to worry about, heh. It's like losing a blue diamond, really, its not going to have an impact in the grand scheme of things.

Also, if you look at the people that post on these boards, its 75% retired or don't play, or people that are at least 65, if not in raiding guilds. Generally speaking, to most of the people here, this little rant is, in fact, rather useless.

Im just at work bored and wanting to fight. I cancelled my accounts long time ago. Bowler has been an alt for a RL friend in EW for almost a year. I was part of this game ... for a while, but not in a long long time.

I guess I was mistaken that SOT was above laughing at others and being rude to newbs on message boards. So yes Im glad to be away from that and this game.

Make you wonder about guilds today, most that are starting up take almost anyone. I understand the officer giving his member the benifit of the doudt when 1 person has a complaint, but when more than one contact the officer that guild MIGHT wanna start looking into stuff like this. 1 person can give a guild a bad name


Actually everything you do and say under the name of your character is a reflection on your guild. Thats the nature of reputation. Whether you beileve it or not thats the way it is.

Regarless of whether you care or not ... its a reflection on your guild. The fact that you have 2x now said you dont care about what your guild thinks simply proves my point.

Thats why they have rules against responding to flames on message boards.

1. Do not get into any vocal exchanges with people in and out of game in any form. This includes /guildsay, /ooc, /say, /shout, and Everquest messages boards.

Not because you care or get your taxes paid for by the guild but because they maintain a reputation that is created by their collective image in game.

My point is and has always been as an officer your comments about players in this game reflects on your guild. Whether you "care" or not.

My concern was to let folks know, so it wouldn't happen to them. Take the warning for what it is.

Just an FYI Bowler. Your character was still tagged SoT about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was grouped with him in Tactics. I left for a raid and asked if you (obvious now, after your statement, that it wasn’t you but your friend) where going. No response after several tells. /shrugs

Interesting to see that people laugh and point that's only a 200pp (divided by six) loss, when the main thing pointed is the behavior of said cleric, leaving her group in the middle of an adventure.
