seeing a full table full of guns and amunition with a guy who was wearing a black t-shirt with a skull on it was kind of intrigueing

Mel Gibson would make an awsome Punisher.

It's John Travolta so I hear, which I think is a horrible choice... and Mel Gibson isnt even Italian, sorry, but no ;p

Personally, if they were gonna pick a big hollywood actor for it, they should've gone with someone that fit the bill better, like Stallone.

actually, I just checked it out, and although Travolta is casted in the film, the title role is being played by a somewhat nameless actor, Thomas Jane. Not a horrible call, actually. Waaaay better than travolta.
