Does anyone have any insight how one using the Microsoft platform can convert from Big5 character formats to Unicode? I understand that Microsoft has previously used CP950 mapping tables for most versions of Windows, but the software we are currently working on requires us to use Unicode. How can I retrieve Big-5 idoegraphic mappings (from 0xA440 - 0xC67E) and compare them with Unicode? Linux already has modules that can convert to and from Big5 using gconv (Big5 <-> Unicode), which is not an issue for our Linux clients. I realize this is probably not the best place to ask, but I know many people on Ayonae.Ro have a very good programming or computer background.

Thanks, or, if you can read characters in UTF-8 format ...
謝謝你!
