It seems sony is doing a few more server merges...

http://eqlive.station.sony.com/community/dev_view.jsp?id=64026

And solusek ro is one of them.

On March 23rd, Bristlebane will merge with Solusek Ro and will retain the name Bristlebane

I'm one of the fellows that did the movelog from solro, so I admit it does make me just a bit sad to see em kill it off. Lots of good memories from back then. :)

I'm overjoyed to see that stinkhole vaporized. :)

It's sad to see the old school server getting merged into the newer server and losing its name.

Hmm, Bristlebane probably has more players than Sol Ro, but it is sad to see it go. It too was my first server. Farewell Solusek Ro =(.

Yup. Score me among those who will both mourn its losss AND dance a little jig that the beast is finally dead.

Bummer. A place akin to Detroit. Good to say you are from there.....but not actually LIVE there. No more "huhu" in public channels.

Lots of great memories from that server... /salute SolRo!

Dangit, thinking too much about those days of EQ is dangerous, luckily I know I could never relive them if I actually picked up the game again :)

Dfrac was born there, I left when ARo opened. Had my first guild there too, if anyone remembers the Jaggedpine Defenders :) Was a great guild with a cool name

Ah yes I remember them, except I always wondered where/what Jaggedpine was when I was low level before they opened it =).

Ahhhh, Sol Ro. I too started my EQ life there. Found this Barbarian gal and damn she looked good. Of course, it turned out to be a Chinese guy that lived in Sacramento, but hey, good times.

huhu!

My old server too.

I guess there is nobody working on EQ anymore who even knows the difference between the servers or maybe they just don't give a damn. Here I find one more reason to be happy I left EQ.

Yeap. I, too, came from Sol Ro.

Fond memories....fond memories.

Holy crapola. Hasta luego Sol Ro. Thanks for the first few years. All the drama. All the Paradigm hate. All the DDP flames. All the TTM putdowns. All the ML zerg fests. The ruckus caused when whatever they called themselves killed Trak outside of the PD/TTM rotation.

Exit stage right, old friend!

No connection with the game whatsoever anymore but, ouch, I feel that too.
Lot of memories from Sol Ro. Erud's Elite, anyone? :P

Kivorn shall be now known as the Acronymisor.

Can't forget VVV, which pretty much invented drama on Sol Ro along with that whole "we are uberguild" shit, at least until Trakanon came along. Paradigm and Darkwind certainly refined it from there. Kinda sucked to get on board a few months before they fell on their swords over an Inny kill and imploded which is about as uncool as saying you got chosen to join EW after Drizzen called it quits, but still. Sometimes the drama the people make is one of the main driving forces that keep you logging in.
