Its for balancing out points given vs points spent, vindi, taking about 20+ people when we actually did him regularly, 2 points each would be 40 points given, then the BP is a 70 point drop, the boots I think were 35, and the earring was usually guildbanked, 0+35+70 = 105/3 = 35, not that we actually averaged point values on items since some drops are more common and some less common.

Bottom line, however, is that if you're giving out 2 points for killing Vinidcator, and it takes 20 random people to do it (for argument's sake, I know you can do it with a group or less nowadays), if you want to maintain zero sum, the average of his drops has to be worth 40.

Inflation and Deflation are both killers in DKP-style systems.
