i know this is pc gaming, but i just got a xbox 360 and rock band. anyone else playing this would love to play a little online play.

The guitar is easy due to 4 versions of Guitar Hero, but the drums is real work for me and i like it.

also i cant sing but i can hit the pitches.

I have it on the PS3 and its tons of fun. I suck at pretty much all the instruments, never played any of the GH series so I'm starting from scratch.

Still though, tons of fun, but Iron Maiden, Number of the Beast downloaded song kicks my ass every time. Bastiids.

I thought about getting it but then realized I've played any of my consoles about <.> that much in a year. My PS3 is a glorified blu-ray player and my 360 is collecting dust. I am very much looking forward to GH4 however, I've read a few things about it and the prospect of being able to make your own songs seems pretty cool, plus character creation, what girl doesn't like that? My nephew played the hell out of rock band for about a month and then he said it just got kind of old. IDK, let me know if you guys really think it's worth buying and I just may check it out.

For me, definitely more fun when we have friends over and we want to kill a couple of hours. I consider it more of a group game than a truly fun solo game. My wife and I play it together once in a while, but her tolerance for video games caps at about 30 minutes, which is really when I'm just starting to get in to it.

So, my two cents, if you have friends that you would play this with on a regular basis, I'd say give it a shot, otherwise, you might not want to drop the cash on it.

I am having to send my 360 in to be repaired.... three red lights!!!! blah....I'm out for at least a month :(
