I have had the pelasure of grouping with LoTJ members on a number of occasions. I find them to be a sarcastic (caustic,even) and unruly bunch. It was hella fun. Despite the obvious handicap of having a Paldin GL, they have pulled off some fairly impressive stuff. Now, if you can't handle sarcasm and humor, I can see where you may be put off by some LotJ, but greedy and lootwhorish? Hell, no. KS'ing? What? Why would they bother? Stealing loot from other guilds' raids (I can only assume that is what you meant) ... again, why would they? Seems to me Legends drops a fair number of good targets, why the devil would they need or want to steal loot?

And while some LotJ and I have waaaaayyyyy different views on world politics, I have never had any sort of in-game experience that would indicate a bad rep, nor have I heard credible evidence of anyone else having such.

I doubt Taino would tolerate that sort of thing from a guildmember.

If you have a problem, speak to me, bring evidence, explain your story, give me names and I take the proper action about it. If you don't STFU and hide in a corner you weak "out of the blue accusing honorable guilds" dipshit.

Gukii is one of the greatest, most friendly, most helpful people in my guild, I am extremely proud he is with us. He does not speak english very well and as Halo said, not realizing your blunt shitty sarcastic comment, he just tried to be nice and pointed you to the website, which was acutally the right thing to do.

You can bet your ass on that. We have kicked members for way less. We do have races on mobs, we do enforce our right and do not always back up and play nice just because another guild wants the same mob. We're in the high end game (yeah yeah, not at the very very very high end game) and had to adapt our style there.
Still I kicked members for way less then you accuse us of. KSing, looting other guilds loot and such things will give the person doing so an immediate kick.
In my over 2 years of leading this guild, I have never heared of any of my members looting other guilds loot. And those very few times someone got accused of KSing, it mostly wasn't. And these 2 times it WAS KSing, this member was an exmember a few minutes later.

While I may not like all of them, all my encounters with members of the guild have shown them at least to abide by the rules of the game, and some of the ones I've talked to have been very decent people. The loot taking, KS'ing guild you speak of sounds nothing like them.

Also, making fun of someone because they don't speak your language is among the lowest, slimiest things a person can do, especially now when he was just trying to be a nice guy and send you somewhere you could get help.

funny taino. I happened to be at that raid, and I know that paladin in RL. Interesting how stories get changed around.

Jeldorin dropped. Guess who loots? None other than Taino. I remember one guy asked like three times what you were going to do with the Jeldorin. You dont reply and we keep fighting. The guy (not the paladin btw) keeps asking and no one replies. After maybe 15minutes he asks again and you say something to the extent of "oh my, I seem to have looted this item". After the guy basically asked 10 times what happened to the Jeldorin you guys rolled (there were 3 paladins). Other paladin won.

-LoTJ were not running the raid. In fact, there were three guilds there if I remember right, like I said, it was about a year ago.
-I have a position of power, I know all about what a shitstorm it can be.
- I wasn't flaming anyone. I was just stiring shit, because I was bored at work. I'm 90% sure that the issue was resolved, mainly because it went away, and I wanted to see what Taino (and some others) said about it.

i am truly sorry for the way things have come about for you kalyxx, to be flamed or razzed by anyone. No one needs to be in that position and you don't have to be the way you are, but i have stated this many times in a few good guilds i have been in, "We are the same in real life as we are in the game,if it's greed or love and hate with sorrow..we are that too in the game,we try to strive for the best and hide or feelings from others and we still act out in our true being no matter what." I don't get on sites like this or anything for that matter unless it's to play EQ, or visit www.bangedup.com, just to see the lates sick stuff and point and say "Now that has got to hurt.".
I recall many times in the past that a certain someone would call me crying her eyes out that no one would help her get her body or find a rez, or help get a few points to level, or all the above. I would go out of my way to help that person or anyone for that matter,and I would leave a good exp. raid or group to help. I never really expected much in return, and I never knew that this person went and "SOLD" herself for ports to make money to give to me to help my skill... I did inturn give potions of whatever she needed, but i never once asked for help.
Now seeing that she is of a high level and I figured I would ask to help turn in the icon in the hole, it would be no problem for her, apperantly i was wrong. i had no idea i was taking you away from an exp. raid or group, if i had known, i would have never bothered. i asked my sister and she i know is busy alot,and then i stopped asking, figured you and her got tired after that one failed attempt. And now i see that you have become far more than what i expected. I don't like to raze people or tarnish one's name, i just caught myself, for i have bad mouthed a few guilds, not people, just the guild they are in... i do so humbly apologize and ask for forgivness, if not... i can live with it, if so... many thankythanky. So i won't go bad mouthing anyone just because they are high on theirself and have others to follow them. i can not account for the actions of others nor can they account for me.
If you feel you need to ridicule me or make me the lesser being in that game,or call me retarded for coming into the zone and moo or woop,then do so. i know for that one moment in the past, that you we're always in need of help, and you so lived by the "Need before greed" rule... it seems now that things have changed, if for the better... or worse... i can not say,but i feel that it is otherwise, and i have nothing but sorrow and pity for you and anyone else that follows you. if you feel that you or anyone else wishes to give me a piece of their mind,than do so... i am not afraid of anyone in this world or the next. i stand up to all and give my best in return.
you can like me or hate me, i care either way, but it really hurts to see that a friend i thought you were was not that at all. but i will still help out if i am needed even if it means my death and never to regain my corpse afterwards, just because i am just that much a friend. i so whole heartedly apologize for all i have done and i will not come near you if it makes you feel that it may ruin your day, if i am in the same zone... i can not help it, i must be either running through or camping something. but i will not make the notion that i am there to bug you.if it could only be different.......

Ok Lone, whatever weed you are smoking you should share with the rest of us. You have NEVER once helped me retrieve my body or got me a rez. EVER! Fibs always rezd me being played by either brother or Mediquick or even Jaana (even tho I know Lanilya dislikes me, he was always one to help a guildie) This is a FACT. Anytime I have ever helped you in the past it has always turned out into a complete clusterfuck. Right down to and including the attempt in the Hole for Kirn. Im sorry you and Seph mistake being in a 'RAIDING' guild for bitchiness. I have responsiblities of my own and it doesnt involve helping those who refuse to do nothing for themselves but whine. You have a bad attitude and thats why people refuse to respond to your cries for help. I have told you on many occasions if you get the people together to help, I will try to be there. But I cannot leave the middle of a raid, telling our officers, Im sorry I have to leave to help someone with a quest. Do you know how fast I would get booted out? Maybe you dont understand there are rules to follow, is that comprehendable to you? This whole flame on me was uncalled for and definately unprovoked. I dont even understand how I came up in the first place or how either of you thought I wouldnt react. Like I said I have helped many people, guildies and complete strangers with multitudes of things. I am not greedy nor a lootwhore as you have implied. Anything I have obtained, I have done so through hard work and dedication to my guilds. That statement can be verified as well. Unlike someone who guested on a raid in Hate and looted a pair of boots they could not wear because of diety restrictions, I wonder who that might have been?

The only people who look stupid are the two of you. First you dis LotJ, why not sure and second you dis me. Then the kicker is Seph goes and applies to the same guild she has just totally bashed, either she forgot her meds or she has brass ones. You have the gall to call me at my home and act like everything is bright and sunny.. wtf?! I politely tell you I dont want to speak to you and not to call back and what do you do, you call back spewing more crap. Lone, you are 30 years old. Your antics might be funny to a kindergarten class but I dont really care for them, they are an embarrassing and thats why I chose to have nothing to do with you. If that hurts your feelings, Im sorry thats how I feel. As far as being a high lvl, I got there on my own, working my ass off xping etc, are you jealous? Anyway, as far as this thread goes, I would like to request it be locked. The immature behavior displayed belongs elsewhere and I refuse to participate in it further.

I must say that Lone is one of the nicest people I have met. I met him not to long ago in GD. I must say he has been the source of some well needed comic relief in my life. He is a hoot and is is simply fun to be with.

He also is one of the most helpful people I know! There are not many people who will sit with someone to camp a rare spawn. He has sat with me for well over 2 hours waiting for Lord Grimblox to spawn. And never once did he complain! On the contary, he offered to help me again this evening if Grimblox didn't spawn. I find that very noble of him.

As for him not helping himself, I would have to disagree. Sometimes we need help with our quest, everyone knows that. Asking for some friends to get together and assist you is helping yourself. You know that you can't do it alone, so you help yourself by asking for the assiatance of others. Since when has that been deemed a crime.

I have made one post in this thread, and I thought it would be my only. But I was wrong! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of someone, and this is mine: "LONE ROCKS!!!!!!!!"

PS Lord Grimblox did spawn..I got my epic piece..woot!
