While I don't come from a country where Rugby is very popular (Even if we are the reigning Olympic Champions) I do enjoy the sport. With the World Cup underway, it is a bit late, but we can still ask: Who takes it?

England and New Zealand are heavily favored to be in the finals. Austrailia are the current champions, and they are playing at home.

I'll throw my hat with the All Blacks.

aussie football ( footy? ) is so much better

i have watched like 20 rugby games and still dont understand the game, but it footy and rugby are alot more fun to watch then other sports.

That's because the players don't run around with 5 stone of protection and padding attatched to them :P

I am not sure if you are talking about AFL (australian football league... aka aussie rules). it certainly is a different sport, but rugby is much more entertaining. I think I might just like the physical and tactical element to it, where as afl is a bunch of guys in small tight shorts kicking entirely for 80 mins.

the favourites never win. England are the favourites, so NZ wins yayay.
