well atm there isnt anything supported by AT&T faster than 3G. 3.5G is barely deployed on any of AT&T networks, and 4G is still a ways away.

Yeah, but the iPhone never really got sustainably running at full 3G speeds. The crappy Infineon chipset Apple used isn't as fast as other 3G phones.

I'd assume they're fixing that so it'll actually be 3G fast, instead of "faster than EDGE".

There could also be a number of hardware improvements, such as a better camera. There are plenty of excuses for them to release a new model, and they'll still cash in on it.

I thought it was software improvements. Such as copy and pasting...to make it as good as a blackberry.

No that's just the new OS which will be compatible with the existing 3G iPhones.

they already have uber sales but if they wanted to CRUSH everyone else:
