The Hulk was much much better than the last with a few cameos that I thought were good. I won't give many details but I do like this direction they're going with the Marvel line. No need to wait for credits, that stuff actually happens right at the end of the movie hehe.
The Happening, eh.

'The Happening, eh.'
- Bugger, the trailer looked good.
I have no desire to watch The Hulk. The one with Eric Bana a while back was 'bleh' with a dose of 'meh' added in. Nick Nolte was the only thing keeping it going. I don't know why but the myriad of comic-book movies we've been blasted with these past few years has made each successive one seem even more unappealing. Hancock looks just as stupid, to be honest.

Looking forward to Hulk, going to see it for Fathers day tomorrow.
Meeting Stan Lee must have been interesting!!!
So glad he lived long enough to see the movie tech advance enough to capture his dream.

The Happening is ok just not as good as I was hoping for. The previews were awesome but the movie was just missing something.
The Hulk, honestly is so much better than the last one if you're even remotely into those types of movies I'd go see it. This movie makes the other one with Bana seem like it never happened which is best for how damn cheesy it was. I wasn't going to go see it either but Leah dragged me in and since it was her bday she got her way yesterday hehe.

Hulk was OK, but what happened to the bad guy was pretty lame ... unstoppable beast is semi-conscious and winded ... let's just LEAVE HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF A CROWDED STREET.

Same way you do italics or bold, with spoiler instead.

ok, hopefully I did this right. spoilers below.
my thought is they left it hanging for more movies. but I agree, I thought it was dumb to leave him just laying there. the other line left hanging was mr. blue, he was exposed but I don't think they showed what happened to him? still, I like them finally having cross over plots with other characters. seems like they're really setting up big for the avengers.

The Happening, eh.
That's giving it a lot of credit. I was very disappointed.

Considering the Abominations regen is equal to the Hulks he's not likely to remain winded long!!

That's giving it a lot of credit. I was very disappointed.
My 75-year old mother saw the ad for this while I was over visiting the other day, and when she saw the guy lay down in front of the combine, she said , "Oh, c'mon, no woman is that bad; just get a damn divorce!"
That's my story and I am sticking to it.

The hulk was decent... it was entertaining enough to pass some time at work.
However, the Happening... well thats just time spent that I can never get back. Save yourself the pain and avoid this flick altogether.

Why does everyone hate The Happening? Is it like Signs? I thought Signs was a pretty lame movie, but for some reason overall I enjoyed it.
Should I read the spoilers you guys posted?

I've heard the happening is worse than Lady in the Water. I've heard the plot doesn't flow and there's no real resolution.
Signs wasn't bad until about the last 15 minutes, imo. There's really only one M. Night Shakakhan movie I like though, and that's obviously the Sixth Sense.

I've only seen bits and pieces of Lady in the Water, but it's almost certain that The Happening is worse. I'm not sure what he was thinking.

The previews really hoooked you into going to see it. And for the first 30min you're like whoaaa and then this totally dumb and gay idea pops up that it's the plants/trees wtih an underlying the planet is warming us OMG! theme and it's just dumb. It's like a B rate movie with a terrible script.
I felt like he was trying to give some message about global warming or taking better care of mother earth. It would have been better if it was aliens or something not plants. I laughed, every scene where someone killed themselves I laughed harder.
Signs was ok I agree until the end. I never watched Lady in the Water it looked dumb to me. What was that other movie he made with the village that lived in their own society and were hunted by the beasts which turned out to be the elders? That movie was better than The Happening.

You know what they say about one good book in someone. Well, he had his good movie. Quiting while you're ahead isn't the same as just quiting.
