Wow. Just omg wow. This looks like its going to be the Better Off Dead of 2010. I had absolutely no interest in seeing this movie until I saw the trailer.

Hey, it's so rare that a trailer actually succeeds on me so...i figured I'd share the love. This looks deliberately kooky, and if it worked for Zombieland, it can work for this film.

Yeah this looks good, Michael Cera hasn't done a bad movie yet (with the exception, of course, of Year One - that made me very sad).

ps recently watched Youth in Revolt, not that's a cracking flick.

So, just saw this. It was AWESOME! The movie delivered. My advice...go see it before you see too many trailers for it on TV. A lot, (but thankfully not all) of the good lines and a few of the funnier plot points are spoiled if you see ALL the trailers (the first one or two is ok...seeing all of them just gives away too much).

My friend's teen son wanted to see this so we had a "guy's night"; I liked how it was structured entirely as a skewering of the "inclusive exclusive" groups that people use to substitute for identity in hipster culture, and how the bands all knew they sucked.

This definately was great, not just cute, IMO. Was 2 hours of pure entertainment and, stylistically, was pure heaven.

Sigh. Though our demographic loved it, it bombed worse than than Pluto Nash. Which I also liked. Here's hoping it lives on as a cult hit.

It's one of those movies you can't go in and take it seriously. It's literally a living, breathing union of Nintendo Entertainment System Era video games and graphic novels combined. Pure Geek Goodness! You're too hot to like this Trikki! ;)

I just went and saw it tonight. I loved it. The problem is that the target demographic for this movie is so tiny, it had zero chance of actually being a huge success.. which makes me happy that they made it anyway.

Also, while the money coming in for box office might have sucked, at least it reviewed somewhat well on RT:
