Egyptian students disappear in U.S.

I guess well see how good our FBI really is....if they can find these students. They had a story about this on World News Tonight.

Can you imagine trying to learn to spell one of the names of the missing people when you were in Kindergarten learning to spell your name? Wow, those are a mouthfull.

I never read the article til you posted it Rover, only the headline, and I thought exactly what you thought about the possibility of a terror cell. Let's hope our thoughts are wrong.

Yeah, I heard about this 1 on the radio this AM.
I'd like to think that there is a non terrorist answer to this, but sadly, I can't figure 1 out.
Wonder when the ACLU is gonna get all riled up that these guys were even known about. Also what "illegal" methods were used to obtain their status, as well as them not showing up to school.

Maybe they just wanted to come over and party.

Since they came over on student visas, it is possible that they wanted to "legally" enter the United States and then try to just disappear into the population. This could be for a variety of reasons, most of the already stated:
1. Terrorist cell group
2. Use the visa to get in the country to find a job
3. Enter the U.S. as a means of getting into Canada or Mexico
4. Provide the "identity" for a follow-up group of terrorists who would come in and assume their identity after the students are picked up and deported
5. International kegger....

Whatever the reason, it does cause one to wonder. Somehow I can't get over the feeling that we will see those names again in the news.

I was out taking a ride, going to buy fresh vegetables from a farm and I snapped this picture.


It wasnt until I read the article that I realized I might have taken a picture of some of the "missing" egyptians.

I guess I can send a copy to the FBI.
