That'd be bloody fantastic. Tudyk's incredibly amusing in person -- would be great to see him as Wash again...somehow.

Am I the only one who was deeply dissapointed in Serenity? Expected so much more from Joss Whedon. But then, I never caught the tv series.

I never got into the series. Something about it just didn't suit me. But I enjoyed the movie.

For me, Serenity was only a bit of a letdown in comparison with the TV series. I'll still be thrilled if Firefly continues in any form, including a second movie.

I'm not getting my hopes up though...yet.

Halo, if you like anything that Joss Whedon has done, even if you didn't like Serenity you owe it to yourself to pick up the Firefly series on DVD.

Loved the banter/chatter of this series.

Whedon has time available now that he's out of the Wonder Woman loop!

No kidding.

Well he's doing a new series for the BBC called "Ripper" that's due out 2008, a spin-off for any of those Buffy fans for the character Giles, which I cannot wait for. He'll be busting demons in rural England - Ohh yeah!

It's a shame that's the only spin-off in the works, as with Buffy and Angel there were two great casts of characters to play with.

Joss Whedon is one of a few creators whose talents shouldn't remain idle. Hello Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Keep in mind the movie was going to be season 2. once they got cancled the condensed hours worth of plot down to make a feature film.

Tudyk again with the rumors (http://nathanfilliononline.com/serenity/http:/serenity2.net/alan-tudyk-says-nathan-fillion-told-him-so/5/). Someone get Whedon on the phone, please.

This may be old news, but I just discovered that Firefly is currently being shown in high definition on a channel called "Universal HD". I had never heard of it, but apparently it's part of my cable package, as well as several satellite networks.

They're showing Firefly on Saturdays at 9pm (EDT) here.

(Edit: Ok, it is definitely old news. :P http://web.archive.org/web/20070307154958/http://www.tvweek.com/page.cms?pageId=212 )
