I know the people that desperately need to read things like that never will, but I hope at least some people can look at it and understand that sometimes what we see as the cart did in fact come long before the horse. It's proven far too easy to stir up a war when you start prepping your antagonist to the knowledge that it's coming years beforehand, and then use their actions as the casus belli, and we've sadly gotten very good at it.
