I'm looking for members of what used to be known as the Short Bus crew. We used to be in Arcane Strength, then went on to Faithless Union, then some went to Phoenix while others went to Final Destiny.

I'm looking for contact with the following as I don't have a valid email address anymore or I simply haven't heard back from them. Last I remember, some still play EQ so if any of you see them ingame, tell em to come here and post! It'd be greatly appreciated.

I gotta say, the game hasn't been the same since you all left. Made me think a few times of quitting. But I'm horrible at quitting things so I'm still in the bloody game. We're on the Tribunal server now since the mergers.

Oh, Tue.... She got Kalleria up to lvl 55 I think of some of the DoN culteral armor, but really hasn't played her since. And another side note, and this one is for you Bin, I have a lvl 58 bard I've been messing around with. It's a pain now that they nerfed swarm kiting.

Awesome to hear that you're going strong. To be honest, if there wasn't so many bloody expansions to work through, I'd probably come back to EQ. I'm soooo done with WoW, I got the thing wrung to death.

I was originally going to go check out Age of Conan, but now that they've moved it back three to six months, it looks like Vanguard is going to be my poison of choice. And guess what! They have BARDS!!!

Soltap, Llao, I'll always remember you by Llaorn lol. It was just soooo many years (felt like it anyways). I'm glad to hear you two are doing well, makes me happy to know old friends are still around hehe :)

You know Binny, Z, Julien, and I all were playing EQ2 together for awhile in the beginning. Z got burned out a little bit then started up on another server and as far as I know she is still playing there. Julien quit long ago and I think he's got a new romance in his life so he's all happy with that lol. We actually talked to Maug on Ventrilo a few times and he was planning on getting the game but we never saw him on there. I've been so busy though I play maybe once-twice a week, currently playing a brigand named Ordeith and having fun with it when I can :)

While trolling around the Vanguard forums I get excited about the part where Brad says things like "It may be a very long and involved quest, but you will be able to get the parts done in a small amount of time." I like it. Every time I hear their concepts and ideas I get excited for the game. I know things can and most probably will change in some way but knowing what goal they are striving for is really exciting.

For the longest time I was championing AoC, mainly because of a lot of the new things they were bringing to the table. However, due to the setback in the release date, unless it REALLY impresses me during beta, I'll be going with Vanguard SOH.

I'm already a senior member on their boards (I'm Rajit and I'm usually posting under the Game Play forums). I'm hoping that when they start Beta 3 (literally any day now) that I might chance upon an invite, but me thinks that's wishful thinking. :)

Needless to say, we gotta stick together if we're all going to the same game. :D

I'm hoping to have my mmonut.com website up in the next week or so. Trying to balance job, family, gaming and the site, so being an "editor of one" is a pretty busy job. To top it all off I'm trying to figure out how to use photoshop.

The site design right now looks more of an online business. I'm trying to make it nice to look at, but make it more approachable from a player base perspective.

When I do get it up and running, I'll keep the Vanguard section up to date with what information I can (as well as other games). When the game does go live, I'll post which server most of us from the Ayo Ro community seem to be on. Hopefully we can be one big dysfunctional family again. ;)

That crew you listed represents the very best of my EQ memories. If you can get that group together again, I'll follow to any game you choose! Tuchi and Llaorn (or whatever you go by now!) so glad to hear from you guys! I hope things are going well. I'll send you my info by PM as well.

So, Tuchi is still Tuchi with a bubble hammer now and her 1.5. I'm no longer the poor druid Llaorn; though i did get him up to lvl 66. I've been playing my necro for a few years now. I hope things are going well for you and your son. i gotta say though, the game just hasn't been the same since you all left. Lol, it killed my friends list too.
We just need Maug and Aon to check this sometime and I'll feel complete again :p.

Heya all...long time no see! I never did make it to EQ2, mainly because by the time I did get my new PC, everyone was already sick of it. I did get back on EQ a few months ago when they offered some kind of wacky little free trial, (basically it's like handing out crack rocks at a rehab clinic), but somehow I resisted, and I didn't get back into it. I kinda think the same way as most of you all do, without the whole crew I was used to seeing in game, it really gets dull & boring pretty quick. Anyways, I hope this finds you all well.

Aoneiel I fondly remember calling him "AA" all the time, I have not seen him in years. I still have him on my friends list and probably will never be able to take him off in hopes of him logging in one day. I think the most memoriale time with AA though is when he got drunker than a skunk on a New Years eve night on year and we goofed around in Karnors castle......he sure made me laugh alot that night. lol

Which, funnily enough, is really the best that I remember you lol, when you started playing the cleric heavily again i think is about the time that the guild we were in broke up! Holy hell that was a long time ago I don't think I even remember the name now.

Yeah I'm really excited about Vanguard, the one day I give myself a week to unwind and play games will be fully dedicated to the beta if I get in.

Reviving this thread due to Vanguard getting closer and closer to Open Beta / Release.

Just want to make sure we try to get all on the same server. I miss the old Ayo Ro days. I resisted the temptation of picking up EverQuest Titanium Edition yesterday. :rolleyes:
