Enough billboard sized sigs... The size rule is back, but this time I'm going to try 600x150x50kb as the limits. Hopefully that'll be a good compromise between keeping this a MESSAGE board instead of 75% sigs and 25% posts, while letting people use the graphics they want.

if you have the one sig per thread/page rule, can it be set to a bit more extreme measurements? like 150k max and more then the 450 w limit?

How many times they're displayed per page doesn't really impact the size limit much. 1 or 20 times on a page, it only gets downloaded once. With an image as small as these sigs, anyone should be able to beat 50k without any real loss of quality.

A slightly wider limit probably wouldn't hurt anything, as long as they're still 150px tall max. Though, I still don't want them so wide that they disrupt browsing for 800x600 people or non-maximized browsers. This isn't an art gallery, after all.

that was my point, since we can now limit it, lets loosen up the ropes on it a bit, the file size doesnt matter too much to me, but giving a bit more room for content would be pretty cool
