OK WTF, after they got done scaring the shit out of me, they got to the real story, was interesting then at the end they go home its all foggy and the dad is there but he is not......

Best me and my roomate can guess, if The demon was stuck in the world that Alyssa knew, hence the roads being gone. But once Alyssas world ended the demon jumped into Sharons world hence them going back home...

Can someone explain wtf happened? or is what we came up with the answer

I might check it out when it hits the rental market. The reviews mostly complained of the "too involved" plotline, which is not a good recipe for a scary movie.

I haven't seen it and probably wont' until it hits the rental section. I have heard allot of people give it bad reviews and say it was very much like a video game. No one has actually talked about plot or storyline though. We already know it's based off a game some people are pricks :( One guy said "I almost forgot it was a video game until the main character went outside and saved the game" /sigh.

I seriously slept through all of it but the first 30 minutes and the last 10. My girlfriend said it had a good story line, though.

My brother owes me $14.00 for admission for telling me it was a good movie.

It was a good movie, had some of the best demon scenes I have seen since Hellraiser. The story threw me for a loop though, best I can figure is the mom and daughter are dead.
