it was nice to see a more superhero vibe to the show. Clark finally excepting things and moving on has me exceited for hte new season.

Lana is gone, lois and clark are starting to get the ball rolling...i am a happy viewer.

Are you sure that's not a deal to keep working for CW as opposed to Smallville? I'm pretty sure I've read this is the last year for Smallville ( will try to find said info)

The CW always markets things as "the last season" they use it as a marketing tool. They did with 7th heaven, Gilmore Girls just to name a few.

From what i am gathering Michael Rosenbaum will not be returning and this will more than likely be the final season of smallville. ( which sucks because i really like the show)
