The UK is in a grip of its earliest and somewhat heaviest snowfall in decades.

This is my third day in a row stuck in at home, and I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy!

ENTERTAIN ME!!!!

I've also found that I've become obsessed with weather reports. Interesting.

Jump in the snow and make some snow angels. I'm in Florida, we are going through a cold front right now, it's about 60'F. I'm freezing, seriously. :p

Ohh, the sun came out today. I may beable to emerge from my home, hairy-faced and red-eyed, tomorrow! Hoorah!

What have you been smoking while you've been locked away?

Weekend is here, and so we are getting another snow storm. They are say it could be 5-7 inches by morning. Should be fun to drive 26 miles to work at 6:30 in the morning.

Got around an inch in the NC Triangle, but it's gradually melting.

After the 55" we got last winter, I'm happy we haven't had any snow yet!

I did not notice the snow impeding the mass of protesters who are outraged at the tuition increases approved by Parliament, nor did it seem to hold them back from attacking Prince Charles and Camilla in their car.

Guess you can count yourself lucky, Halo, that you are finished with University at this point, at least from a student perspective.

And, back to snow...they just forecast a potential 6-10 inches Friday night thru Saturday morning, which will make delivering mail Saturday loads of fun.

'Guess you can count yourself lucky, Halo, that you are finished with University at this point'

- I spend most of my time at a University, so not that finished with it! :P

The snow has cleared up in the south, it's mostly in the North and Scotland now, quite heavily.

They can ship it to NJ, we have surplus space for snow that's just not being used right now. Stupid wimpy above freezing weather.

Need some snow here too to mask the dead trees and provide distraction from the pollution. Be lucky if we get the snow we got last year. Beijing is a desert climate.

Hope you are surviving the snow they have been showing the past week, Halo. It looks like Europe and Great Britain are being seriously hammered by the weather this year.

Yep, covered in it. Causing hell - as we're useless at dealing with snow. Even 2 inches brings public transport crashing down.

Lovely to have it over Christmas nonetheless! :P

Still waiting to see if we get Xmas snow in Raleigh. Right now it looks like we'll get flakes in the evening and more on Sunday. I hope my friends plan on visiting me instead of the other way around.

Lame, we got like 2inches and b/c of the wind it all piled up against my house in the back yard. Meanwhile my family visiting from NC got stuck a day or two here in PA before they could head home. Apparently 18-20inches landed in Cherokee, first White Christmas since 1981. It was even flurrying at Ft. Stewart Ga something I never saw in all my time at that god awful armpit. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see plenty soon enough :)

Hope you all had a great holiday, I enjoyed mine but damn they go by so fast now. I hate that :(

Got about 5 inches where I was -- not sure how many hundreds of vehicle and 'fall on my ass' accidents that translated into. Glad I was off that day -- I hear the ER was busy. It's rare for us to get that kind of snow in December; we're all wondering what January and February will bring.

Very rare, according to reports we saw Raliegh nor Columbia had ever had a White Christmas since they started keeping records of such things. Neat stuff :) Glad you're alive and doing well in it. My family had no issues getting home although my niece got stuck in Florida for 2 extra days due to Atlanta airport being delayed/closed.

Relatives in the UK posted some photos on facebook. It looked so pretty :) I'm going to have to get my butt over there soon.
